If you’ve been following me for a while, you know Nano Poblano is very important to me. If you haven’t heard about it, your probably wondering what the heck is this. Is this even a real thing or something I just made up. Well, it’s real and it helped me elevate my blogging game. So what is Nano Poblano? Read on to find out more…
Nano Poblano
Every November, writers/bloggers across the globe participate in various writing challenges. They range from writing a little each day to complete a full novel or doing an activity each day to elevate your writing. Some of these challenges can seem a bit overwhelming and downright impossible to achieve. But since 2016, I’ve found my place with Nano Poblano. It’s one of the most unofficial, November Blog Post Challenge. Now, in the past, we have been encouraged to write an article every day for the month. You can read about my prior success or lack thereof in, “It’s That Time Again.” Oh, and for 2018, I made it up to day 29 but published my 30th article on December 5.
This year, our host, Rara, is changing things up a bit. Instead of writing 30 articles, participants commit to 30 days of blog activities. It goes like this – ten days of posts, ten days of reading/commenting, and ten days of sharing posts. We’re not limited to just ten days; this is the minimum commitment. I think I can handle that. But it gets even better with this challenge…
It gets even better…
There are no guidelines, no fees, no penalties if you don’t get it all done. But honestly, with the format, most of us will get it done and do more. Oh, and did I forget to mention we even have a cool blog badge?
Wonder why the badge has chili peppers on it? The group is also known as Team Tiny Peppers.
So, throughout the month, look out for the hashtag #NanoPoblano2019. I’ll be sharing my articles here on the Infinity Coaching Leadership Blog. Links of other Peppers post, as well as my own, will be shared on my social media platforms on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. If you’re not doing the challenge, you can participate by reading and sharing the articles and posts you see on social media. You may find a new favorite blogger that motivates and inspires you… Here’s to the Tiny Pepper’s success!
