Whatever business you run, you will always have to consider branding. Without good branding, you can’t expect your business to succeed in quite the same way. Therefore, it is definitely something you don’t want to overlook. One of the ideas you should consider is branding your office building and headquarters. Let’s look at how you can take advantage of this powerful strategy.
Paint Job
Sometimes, all you need is a paint job. A great place to start making sure your headquarters is brand-appropriate by getting the colors right. This is a fundamental aspect of any branding, so you should not overlook it. The good news is it’s an easy thing to paint a building. Depending on what you think is best for your brand, you can go as bold or as subtle as you like. But one thing’s for sure: if the colors align with your brand, you’ll get a lot more out of the building, and people will notice it.
Clear Logo
It should go without saying that you need to have your logo on the outside of the building to make the most of it as a branding opportunity. However, where you place the logo is important. Please don’t put it where no one will ever see it! Also, consider the unique perspectives your building offers from all sides. You might find one place where it is likely to be noticed by many people – such as a side that backs onto a major road or a railway line. Be sure to put your logo wherever it will be most seen.
Banners
Although they are a simple thing to have, the proper use of a banner can make a big difference for your business. There are many ways to hang a banner, and you might want to have a few of them around the exterior of your building to try and gain the most impact. You can also hang banners throughout the interior of the building. If the building is uniquely shaped, do not be discouraged. Something like Installing banner on curved surface can be tricky, but it’s worth the results it can bring. You can also change the banners occasionally, but be sure to use colors representing your brand. Consider making a quiet statement by adding a miniature version of your logo to your banner. Companies like Allegra, which specializes in banner printing in Asheville, NC, can also help with your direct mailing campaign, customer flyers, and more. This allows you to meet most of your branding and marketing needs from one reliable source.
Building Design
If you can affect the building design, you will undoubtedly want to look into this as well. You can think of some unique interior design methods that set your office apart from the rest. You’ll be amazed at the difference this can make in a world of Instagrammable photo opportunities! And, with you having a say in the design, the building will definitely align with your brand image.
If you don’t have a physical location but have a home office, you can also design your home office to represent your brand image. I’ll share some ways to do that in a future article, so be sure to check back for that article. But if you are in a physical location, take a moment to walk around and see if your headquarters reflects your brand. If it doesn’t, consider making a few of these adjustments. Here’s to YOUR success!
