“My life has been full of terrible misfortunes most of which never happened.” ~ Michel deMontaigne
When I first saw this quote by Michel deMontaigne I stopped and paused letting it simmer in my mind. It captured so much of my philosophy of how we allow possibilities to hold us back. The infinite possibilities that exist should inspire us to live life to the fullest, creating something special.
When we are planning our careers and futures, it is good to think about all the possible outcomes. But far too often we let all the terrible things that could happen hold us back from taking the steps that can lead to our success. In reality, most of these terrible things never happen. We can not let the possible outcomes hold us prisoner to our dreams and desires.
We will face many obstacles along the journey of life but we have a choice to either not try, quit or to find a way around the obstacle. You have to decide how bad you really want to fulfill your dream. Are you ready to move past the coulda’s and maybe’s and create what you desire?
Choose to play and live life to the fullest – It’s worth it!
